we also have a young pc business and couldn’t agree with you more on all the points you raised. don’t waste your money on yellow pages etc we got 90% of our clients from a poster we put up in our small local shop and the people they then recommended us to. provide a good honest service and clients will sing your praises to all they know, you can’t buy that kind of advert!!!

I came up with a name, Digital Solutions, then looked in the phonebook and bam, a business with the same name exits.

Back to the drawing board. I came up with a logo though and im happy with it.

Next is signs on the truck. Does that work well? They only want about 35$ per magnetic sign.

I just started a “business” although Ive been modding 360′s, ds’s, xboxes, psps, and working on pc’s for about 10 years.

Finally getting cards and getting the word out. Ive been making about 200$ a week just from the people I work with (hospital) so I know I haven’t tapped anything yet.
